TRELOAR’S SCHOOL
THE GOSLING FOUNDATION FUNDS ORGANISATIONS THAT PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND SUPPORT. WE ALSO PROVIDE FUNDING FOR SPECIAL NEEDS SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES TO HELP THEIR STUDENTS TRANSITION TO HIGHER EDUCATION. WE ARE PARTICULARLY KEEN TO FUND PROJECTS THAT KEEP YOUNG PEOPLE ENGAGED WITH EDUCATION OR VOCATIONAL TRAINING OR HELP THEM BACK INTO EDUCATION.
For example, we have funded projects that:
• Improve the facilities at special educational schools.
• Support young people at risk of exclusion from education.
• Provide vocational support to help young people train or retrain for jobs.
• Reach people in new ways, for example moving services online.
• Deliver structured programmes to help students with special needs to transition into independent living.
